Are you a citizen of Iredell County? Great, we are so glad you're here! This is a blog for the Iredell County Area Transit System (ICATS), here we will start to share with you events we have coming up, answer questions, introductions to our staff, and give you all the information we can about our services! We would love if you would follow along here every week as we start this blogging journey. Our goal is to reach as many citizens as possible residing in Iredell County to provide you with the full extent of our services. We aim "to provide safe, on-time, and reliable transportation to the citizens of Iredell County.". If you are unsure of who Iredell County Area Transit System is (ICATS) is, we are a public transportation system that serves human-service consumers as well as the general public. Under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) there can be no preference given due to trip purpose. Therefore, every trip will be regarded in the same manner. Our vision here at ICATS is "to be a respected and reliable source of transportation that is in the forefront of citizens' minds when considering transportation options.". Our first blog will be posted next Monday 10/07/2024 and then will be weekly from then on, this first one will be all on all general information you'd need to know about us here at ICATS.
